Underfloor Heating could make or break a house sale
Underfloor heating can make or break a house sale,
according to a survey by Nationwide Building Society
that looked at what turns on and turns off potential
buyers.
- One in five (20%) people would find underfloor
heating an attractive feature.
- 22% would like a walk-in wardrobe
- 13% would like a Jacuzzi
Stuart Bernau, the Executive Director of Nationwide
commented,
“Taste is an individual thing and many buyers
will want to change a new home in some way to suit
their needs…”
Erin Jarvis, in Continental UFH’s Marketing
Department comments,
“Underfloor Heating offers the new owners an
unrestricted space as a canvas for design. The heating
system is hidden beneath the flooring, eradicating
the need for radiators that threaten to inhibit design
freedoms.
“This, in conjunction with the comfort of radiant
heat and the proven economic benefits of running an
underfloor heating system, has ensured the growing
interest of the self-builder and potential home buyers.
It is fast becoming an asset that will increase the
overall value of any home or new build project, as
our customers have found.”
