Simple and Fast Installation
Continental™ Underfloor Heating Systems are designed to be simple and fast to install. In general the installation time is a third of that required for a comparable radiator system, and the level of skill required is less.
How you get your system installed depends largely on your project and how much work you wish to do, whether you wish to self-install, use a Continental™ Registered Installer, use your own plumber, or use our nationwide in-house installers.
Self-install
Many of our customers choose to self-install. Every underfloor heating system supplied comes complete with detailed instructions for fitting and commissioning instructions, and full colour coded CAD plans. They are also supported by our wealth of technical knowledge, which is just a phone call away on our Local Call rate number.
Registered Installers
Continental™ Registered Installers operate locally across the UK. They have undertaken training with us, have passed our Registered Installer examination, and provide extra peace of mind. If you are a plumbing professional that wishes to be trained in UFH please contact Alice Mills on 0845 108 7001 for details of our training schemes. Alternatively
to send an email.
Plumber Installed
Most plumbing and heating engineers are now familiar with UFH systems, and we find that our approach of offering free, unlimited help gives them the confidence and trust to choose our systems time and time again.
Continental™ Installation
In response to customer demand, we now offer a nationwide fixed-price in-house installation service. Self-builders prefer to use this because it means that they have one point of contact for their UFH system, and plumbing & heating engineers often choose this option so that they can get on with other aspects of their work, safe in the knowledge that the UFH system is being professionally and cost-effectively installed. Just get in touch for a free fixed-price quotation.
Continental™ Commissioning
However you choose to have your system installed, using our in-house Commissioning Engineers to set-up and test your finished UFH system helps to ensure that you get a system that works from day one. Just get in touch for a free fixed-price quotation.
How should the system be plumbed?
The simplest way to plumb in our system is to use S-Plan. Click on one of the links below for a closer look at typical system schematics
